Hi Jo, thank you!!! Great interview and feature and what a joy to be able to see the film.
Me, Sarah and our kids Ned and Joe couldn’t make it to the first GM at the castle but did get to the first one at. Baskerville Hall. And kept on coming. About a minute and half into the film, that tired but very happy bloke in yellow tshirt is me with Ned with our lovely friend Gaynor – who was there with Andy and their kids Will and Alice. The four kids are all over the film, mainly right up against the stage peering up at the band or dancing like grubby urchin dervishes.
More friends, more rellies joined us over the years to supplement the GM friends we made. Those early Green Mans were perfect. They remain amongst our most treasured and happiest çollecive family life experiences.
We’re so grateful for you and Danny’s hard work, determination, grace and generosity in making them happen and sharing them with us.
I’m going to try and watch the film again now without getting all happysad lachrymosey again now.
