It’s Jo & Danny only played live around 30 times, including Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin and London. We played Glastonbury, Reading / Leeds T In The Park and this, our performance at our own Green Man Festival in Wales 2003.
We started the performance as a duo with drum machines and through the set various musicians joined us. The final song, ‘Love Expression’ features the mighty Mathew Priest (Dodgy) on drums, Richard King (now an author) on guitar, Gary Aylesbrook (Super Furry Animals) on trumpet and Lee Goodall (Van Morrison) on saxophone. The band had no rehearsals – we just went for it on the day!
