Bluetrain were part of the early indie C86 scene regularly playing in London. We released a 12″ on Dan Treacy – of The Television Personalities – Dreamworld Records in 1987 when we also played Glastonbury, toured Scotland and did a one off gig in France. We supported The Pastels, The Mighty Lemon Drops, The Bodines, The Housemartins and The Pale Fountains.
The original line-up of myself, Danny, Rudy and Kevin rehearsed on Saturday – the first time since we played together in Singapore in 1990! It was brilliant.
We’re getting ready to play a one off gig at the Buzz Club on 22 February at the West End Centre in Aldershot. It’s their 50th anniversary this year and they asked us to do a special one off Buzz Club to celebrate!
