I had an online radio show called ‘Fringe On Top‘ for a while a few years ago. It went out via a station in New York called Chestnut Radio put together by Ralph Rizzo. I’d record the show on my laptop at home and send it over to Ralph every Sunday – he’d broadcast it a couple of times each week.
I’d spend a lot of time finding new music to play and it was then that I first heard and loved Pye Corner Audio. Basically it’s a guy called Martin Jenkins. He’s released various records on Type records and Ghost Box. He’s done stuff with Mogwai too.
