Bluetrain / Go! Service Releases

I’m very happy to say that a limited edition vinyl compilation album by my band from 1986 / 7, Bluetrain, is getting released by Berlin’s Firestation Records on 13th November.

It’s made up of the Bluetrain 12″ which originally came out on Dan Treacy’s Dreamworld Records in 1987 and tracks which were featured on the cd released on Plastilina Records, in 2008, all also from 1987.

This record contains previously un-released early demo tracks ‘Too Much To Hide’ and ‘Find Another Way’ both recorded in London in 1984.

Also just released – this fabulous box set / cd booklet ‘Make More Noise! Women In Independent Music 1977 – 1987’ on Cherry Red, contains my track ‘It Makes Me Realise’ by Go! Service, written and recorded when I was eighteen.
